Novington is on the rise as far as technology and housing are concerned. However, the society is more organized and controlled by the King and Queen, rather than a coefficient society like Andalasia.
Novington Square is by far more advanced than Andalasia's marketplace. There are apartments, cobbled pathways, you get the idea. People have actual stores here rather than the Andalasian setup. The organization certainly makes for less crowding in the streets.
Covingham is the place to live if you want to be with the "in" crowd. Dukes and Duchesses live in this area as well as the knights, lords and ladies.
Nest Hardings is somewhere in between Andalasia's Wyndemere and Naplesmyer, as far as housing is concerned. It's advanced to a certain level, just not as far as Covingham. Again, merchants tend to live here.
Chauveil is a village where those who can't afford apartments in the Square live. People here are generally plague-ridden, and not many outsiders will come here. There's a small percentage of the population that is not diseased, but I suggest you leave before you catch something nasty.
